Then again, it's in the 60s and I'm a native Floridian. Of course I'm freezing cold.

Our perspective is on the girl  
The girl looks at her wristwatch, illuminated by the pale, faintly yellow light of the  subway wagon. She slumps on the familiar bench, seeming exhausted after working as a waitress at a party in an underground nightclub. Her boyfriend, also on the night shift, is waiting to pick her up at the next stop. At a glance, her face seems troubled with boredom, a dull frown settling over hesitant lips. Absolutely! I'm catching up on stuff this week, but I should be able to give it a read and feedback. Seriously, I really enjoy reading what other people are doing. I don't get a chance to meet with too many writers where I live, so it's fun to be able to connect on the webz.

thanks for the critique. though, in my own desires I wish it would have been better.. I did it in a single draft in no less than five minutes. as they say... "based on a true story"...
